In accordance with the Crisp-Ellert Art Museum and Flagler College, students Kimberly Gross, Lorenzo Deagle, and Emily Wertley researched, coordinated, and digitized St. Augustine’s artist colony from the Gilded Age – much of which has been forgotten or overlooked as time progressed. Stressing the importance of these artists and their influence on the city, Painting in Paradise encompasses the historical impression of this period. The Crisp-Ellert Museum’s temporary exhibition (displayed Jan. 11 through Feb. 22, 2013) has also been digitized through this website.
