In order to diversify our pool of knowledge, our research team decided to pay a visit to the Saint Augustine Historical Society Research Library located in the Sequi-Kirby Smith House on Aviles Street on March 21 2013.  The librarians were extremely helpful in providing published works from their library on various artists who resided at the Ponce de Leon artist studios – including published works on artists such as Laura Woodward. The library also contains photocopies of newspaper articles dating all the way back to the Flagler Era, thus this library serves as an invaluable center of primary information.  However, we were unable, and continue to be unable to obtain biographical  information for two specific artists, F. Arthur Callender and Charlotte Buell Coman. Future research on these two individuals is necessary for when new resources become available.
